iPhone Gets PS Emulator: Finally a Good Reason for an iPhone
December 12, 2007 Mobile, PS No CommentsLet it ring from the mountaintops: psx4all is soon entering beta testing! This PlayStation emulator for the iPhone will finally give owners of the Apple equivalent to the monocle something to be truly snooty about. “Oh, I do declare, there appear to be ruffians all around. I shan’t stand this riffraff any longer; I’m going to take myself and my iPhone to a better part of town.”
The developer is estimating that about 75% of the PS games will be compatible with this emulator. However, they do warn that with such a large library of games, psx4all might not support your favorite one. Also, if you’re worried about these screens, don’t be. They’re early test shots and the look should get cleaner and the controls will get further developed before psx4all makes it into the wild.
The only bad news coming out of this is the impact on the already inflated self-worth of iPhone owners. How much this will increase their arrogance is nigh incalculable. It’s still unclear how they will be able to live with the rest of society.
